Electron wavelength in electron microscopy is of the same order of magnitude as the size of an atom. This is too small to visualize because electron waves cannot resolve particles that are of the same order of magnitude.
Electron microscopy has significantly improved the ability to see and understand the workings of these organelles because electron wavelengths are short enough to resolve the structure of organelles, which are around 100 times larger than the wavelengths of an electron.
The structure of skeletal joints can be effectively examined using an X-ray machine, rather than an electron microscope.
The bonds between atoms use electrons, which cannot be visualized with an electron microscope because they cannot resolve particles that are of the same order of magnitude.
