Glucose is reabsorbed primarily in the proximal convoluted tubule (PCT) of the nephron. The cells of the PCT have transport proteins that actively reabsorb glucose from the filtrate back into the bloodstream, under normal conditions, ensuring that glucose is not lost in the urine.
